La Paz on Foot: Santiago de Huata Full-day

Enjoy a day full of adventure on Lake Titicaca. Let’s get out of the city an head to Santiago de Huata, a small agricultural village belonging to the Chiripa culture. Located on the east shores of the Lake; This village is characterized by its incursion into community tourism due to its wide cultural and natural heritage. Upon arrival, at Chuquiñapi lodge, the locals receive us with a welcome snack. Then we get ready for a ride on the sailing catamaran built by the young people from the community, driven by the wind we let ourselves be carried away by the mystical waters of Lake Titicaca. Back at the lodge, we enjoy an Andean-style lunch. We then head to Sunata Island, where we will take a short walk to feel the emotion of crossing the waters of Titicaca barefoot, while we delight ourselves with the typical landscapes of the Cordillera Real. We then return to La Paz at approximately 7pm.
